Is assembler really dead?

I was working away on some NIOS-II component designs today and thought a couple of lines of assembly code would answer a question. So I went looking for the assembler! Darned if I oculd find it! Is assembly language really dead?

SchmartBoards in use

Okay, so I have been busy, and I haven't been writing here have I. But I have been writing in other places, specifically at SchmartBlog. One issue I addressed there is the matter of bypassing supplies on the SchmartBoard, although you don't find out how coll the arrangement is until you actually use the board!
